Board Cleanup - Pruning to "Inactive Members"

I just finished doing some long overdue cleanup. After the Getraw/Grunt incident and now seeing JPME come back after such a long time I think something needed to be putting in place to know when members who have not signed on in a while come back to the board unexpectedly.

This cleanup included over 2,000 of the current 5,000 members on this board. Heres what I did:

1) Any member below veteran level that has not logged in in 1 year (360 days) has had their status changed to "Inactive"

2) Any veteran or VIP member that has not logged in in 6 months (sometimes a little less) has had their status changed to "Inactive"

Inactive Members have the same priviledges as new members, so any Veteran or other member category that had any forum viewing priviledges above that of a regular new member and has been "pruned", now has the priviledges of a regular new member in the Inactive Member usergroup.

Inactive members will have their username in GREEN. Anytime you see someone logged in under the "WHO'S ONLINE" list or posting recently whose name is GREEN, please welcome them back after such a long hiatus and then notify myself or Ghostmodder so we can welcome them back as well.

The goal here is to try to catch a scam before it happens.....but also to let once active members who come back (like JPME) know that we'd like to see them stick around for good.

where did you find the time, what with Anon 2.2 and all? Have you decided to give up sleep?

I did that for awhile back in the 90s. I don't suggest it. Things start getting.....shady.
