I used to like to watch Mercer when he was fighting in the early nineties. He had a devastating jab, I remember seeing him ko a dude with is jab. When he knocked out Tommy Morrison, you could tell then he had that killer instinct. Old and out of shape as he looked in this latest fight, I guess he still kept a little power.
