The Big Question: God vs. Steroids

I'm not the type to beat around the bush...let's get right into it.

How do you think God views bodybuilders who take steroids? Are they the same as taking recreational drugs in God's eyes?

I have someone I know that won't have sex til he's married because of his religion but will have a marathon on aas.

He's a big bible thumper too. I told him I tattoo'd the mark of the beast on my right under wrist the other day and he freaked out. Of course, I was kidding but still I find that hypocrital like most religious people are.

To awnser the question... Yes, I don't feel if god existed he would be too happy with our "use" of aas.

i dont know if i believe in god , i dont know what to think.

it a yes and no situation with me.
i personally dont see my steroid use in the same fashion as say smoking weed or taking cocaine.
i do look at steroids as a very beneficiall compound to help push my body to the limits.

i use to go to church last year after several things happened in my life , i will say that i have experienced some very strange things and i do believe that it was god so to say , but now i dont know what i believe.

i put all my faith and hope into myself and focus on what i can achieve on my own and from the help off loved ones , most put there faith in god.

Here is my rant on a 'supreme being'

Let's say for the sake of argument that there is a GOD.

Ask yourself for a minute what you would want out of your people if you were a GOD that created them but left them no real instructions about how and if they should worship you and you have left no undisputed proof of your existence.

Personally, I would want all of my people to be 'groovy' with each other, not kill, not steal, shit like that. And if I was the landlord of some immortal vacation spot in the sky called heaven then my entry requirements would be simple: were you generally a good person that tried not to hurt people but rather tried to help them, or were you an asshole that spent most of your life only looking out for yourself while you screwed everyone else over?

It would not be dependent on what building if any you sat in on any given Sunday and sang dodgy songs about this and that, or how many "hail marys" or "our fathers" you recited daily.

All organized religions at their cores try to do the same thing: make their followers good humble people that contribute positively to society. But in practice most churches and such mess it up and created religious zealots who take the almighty position that their way is the 'only' way and if you're not doing it the same way, then you're fooked.

I belive in Jesus and go to church regularly. I dont see why God would be mad for AAS usage. maybe because its use of an illegal substance. I dont think it would be like recreational drugs tho

Well, he told me yesterday that he wanted to get some gear from Drifter because he liked the prices.. I told him he'd have to wait in line because we're still waiting for a list..

how can we justifie steroid use.
as one says above that maybe god see"s steroid use as wrong because its an illegal drug,, but i suggest this , its legal in the uk so would god be ok with me doing it

hmm I would say not then. just like its not wrong to drink alcohol. its only wrong to get smashed. but its wrong for anyone under 20 to drink because of the law. but in France, where theres basically no law on it, its not a problem, at least to me. maybe Ill ask my pastor.

but Lee Haney is a huge huge christian, and 7 x Mr. O, he definately used the sauce. so I dunno
