but just to be the devils advocate here....say Obama does raise taxes, you think thats necesarily a bad thing? i've always voted republican but that nincompoop Bush has raised our national deficit to the highest its ever been. Know who we owe all that money to? other countries. know what national debt does to the value of the US dollar? makes it go down. the US dollar doesnt buy as much in other countries anymore as it used to....including foreign oil. now i'm no economist, but i know theres a bigger picture.

by the way, government run health care works well for canada. know what else works for canada? NOT GOING TO WAR. you stated that we are winning the war......but i have a few questions to that:

how do you judge who's winning? who are we even fighting against anymore? we've been there like 5 years now....what have we gotten accomplished? we've captured and executed Saddam Hussein and jacked our gas prices and federal deficit through the roof. Did we really WIN?

i support and appreciate what the troops are doing who are over there, i really do. but they're doing a job that they were told to do, and its their nature to follow orders. if you asked any of them off the record, if they'd rather be protecting the Iraqi people or protecting their own family at home we all know which one they'd say. Bottom line is Bush put the troops over there to try to control oil prices and make him and Cheney alot of money, they got what they wanted but nobody else did. Once Bush is out of office that stupid war needs to exit along with him. One day people will be talking about it in the same way as Vietnam.

and the mass majority of the troops want to stay and finish the job there and who wouldnt say they would defend there familys instead. and dude how can you say bush only put them there to make money thats totaly just wrong of you. 911 was a disater and since we have not been attacked . and its all not that good in canada with there health care you can go wait in line for a surgery I dont want to wait.so are you saying you would rather have obama in office a far left liberal instead of a republican

The truth is you are spewing excerpts from liberal publications. If Norway and Sweden have taxed themselves into prosperity. Why not do more of it. Why not double taxes overnight and boy how they will enjoy their riches. The worl wioll be so envious of there ingenious design The simple fact are these are socialist nations who have far less GDP per capita than we do and never will. This is depspite the fact they have a homogenious society and don't have to support millions of illegals aliens soaking up the system like we have here. The truth. Absorb it.
