EO is a type of carrier that allows a hormone to hold at a greater concentration.
It can either replace oil (grapeseed, cottonseed etc) alltogether, or you can use a mixture..i.e. 50% EO 50% grapeseed (oil)
USP is just the grade that the oil is..basically saying it is sterile oil.
Some test I have is pretty dark cuz I used GSO (grapeseed oil) with it..and another is lighter because I used a different type of oil..color really doesn't make a difference.
I also believe the duration and amount of heat placed on the hormone can alter the color as well..
