How did things work out for your wifey, tweaks?
Good advice is given here. The only thing that I'd add, if needed, for better fat burning is adding HIIT, which is sprinting intervals. Adding them, along w/ correct diet, training and my ss cardio was spot on for my show prep and got the fat to melting when I stalled.
