The blood identifier that is present following a heart attack is called CPK. Its only present for 12-36 hrs following an attack (if memory serves me correct). The only problem with your analogy is that if the attack is strong enough it will kill the heart muscle and possibly the nervous attachment called bundle of his that power the heart to make it pump.
I think that possibly with hgh and igf-1 use there is the best amount of new muscle fiber production called hyperplasia. This will allow a larger amount of growth but unfortunately is extremely rare and when occuring is only in small percentages. Hope this helps.
